Every November, Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) celebrates creativity, innovation, and the entrepreneurial spirit around the world. This year's theme, Entrepreneurs Thrive Here, highlights the importance of building a supportive and inclusive ecosystem where entrepreneurs can turn ideas into opportunities, foster meaningful connections, and grow their ventures.
At the Centre for Entrepreneurial Development, Innovation & Research (CEDIR), IBA Karachi, we are proud to bring this global movement to Pakistan. Our GEW 2026 celebrations will feature an exciting lineup of events bringing together students, alumni, startups, and industry leaders to celebrate innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship in Pakistan.
The journey begins on 24th October with the final pitching and graduation of I-Incubate's Cohort 2, marking an important milestone for emerging entrepreneurs. A 14-month startup incubation program by IBA CEDIR and HEC Pakistan, I-Incubate supports early-stage ventures through training, expert mentorship, networking, and investor access.
At the event, participating startups will showcase their progress and business potential to investors, industry leaders, and ecosystem partners as they take their next steps toward growth and scalability.
On 3rd November, promising startups will take center stage at the Sindh Acceleration Program - Demo Day, showcasing their innovative ideas, entrepreneurial journeys, and growth potential.
Following months of training, mentorship, and business development, participating founders will pitch their ventures to a panel of judges, sharing their progress and future ambitions.
More than just a competition, the event celebrates innovation, creativity, and the entrepreneurial talent of Sindh, where bold ideas turn into real opportunities.
GEW will feature engaging panel discussions hosted in collaboration with IBA's Entrepreneurship Faculty and Incubator Managers.
